About this event
Come join all our Movie Club regulars on November 11th at 4 PM for a discussion of Annie Hall. Annie Hall is listed as #31 on the AFI list of 100 greatest American movies and stars Diane Keaton, Woody Allen, and the sights and sounds of New York City. The discussion will be led by that well known native New Yorker Richard Cooperman. Filled with poignant performances and devastating humor, Annie Hall represents a quantum leap for Woody Allen and remains an American classic.

Described as a romantic comedy, this film brought a new level of sophistication and intelligence to this comedy genre, winning Oscars for being daring and innovative. That year it beat out Star Wars and was the winner of multiple academy awards – best picture, best director, best screen play, and best actress. Annie Hall is one of Woody Allen’s most eclectic and innovative films, employing multiple techniques scarcely used before. RSVP to Robert Ramsey at robertramseymd@gmail.com and he'll send you the Zoom link for the discussion.
