Transportation

The Greater Stonegate Village (GSV) provides help for transportation on a non-emergency, short-distance (less than 20 miles one way) basis. Requests for transportation should be submitted 7 days in advance. GSV can connect you with drivers to provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery store, or other non-emergency needs.  For emergency needs, please call 911. Vacation Watch

You can schedule to have a Greater Stonegate Village (GSV) volunteer watch your home when you are away. Requests for Vacation Watch should be submitted 14 days in advanceby calling 240-918-7989. One week prior to being away you must submit a written Vacation Watch form.  This form will have time and dates away from home, your contact information and contact information for a nearby relative or close friend who is available in your absence to come to the property if necessary and will require that you give written permission to GSV and GSV Volunteers to be on your property as required for the purpose of performing this service. To request Vacation Watch please fill out this form and email the form to service@greaterstonegatevillage.org or call 240-918-7989.




Wellness Check

A volunteer can call, text or come by periodically to check if you are OK or if not, what you might need.   If you have family who are your caregivers, a relief break can be arranged occasionally. Requests for Wellness Check should be submitted 14 days in advance by calling 240-918-7989.  One week prior to starting the service you must submit a written Wellness Check form.  This form will have your information and will require that you give written permission to GSV and GSV Volunteers to be on your property if required for the purpose of performing this service.
